Skyscrapers 2011

Kendy Wong: Birmingham, United Kingdom; Kendy Wong, a student graduating from the famous School of Jewellery. Having grown up and lived in Hong Kong, the skyscrapers buildings in the city always inspire Kendy, particularly those with mirror glass facades. She found these structures and the reflective surface very interesting. She likes the various geometrical forms and line patterns created by the reflections on these mirrored surfaces. She also focus on colours as they represent the decoration of lights, sceneries and weather that are being reflected on the mirror surface of the buildings, this kaleidoscopic combination given a sense of living to the strong tough structure.
